Alright 9-5ers...here’s how to get people to buy your affiliate products without selling a thing.
You're going to show them that you can solve their problem by teaching, connecting, and giving value for free, which will create know, like, and trust.
This know, like, and trust is why people buy. I buy from Amazon because I know that I can trust their return policy. If I have a problem then I can drop my item at Whole Foods and receive a refund (almost) immediately.
HOW YOU TEACH, CONNECT, AND GIVE VALUE
Here are some ideas:
Create a lot of content using PLR and post regularly on your website
Email your posts to your list 1 - 5 times a week and ask for comments
Post your content to social media - Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc
Create videos about you and your life and why you're in business
Go 'Live' on socials and allow people to ask you questions
I like to write blog posts, like this one, and then create a mini-slide video to go with it (below). I always ask for comments because I genuinely want to help (and get feedback so I can improve).
HOW TO CREATE MINI-SLIDE VIDEOS
Design 7-9 slides about your niche product
Make a 3-8 minute video (good length for advertising)
Use Zoom
Screenshare
Show your face + your slides (see below screenshot)
USE GOOGLE SLIDES WITH THIS FORMAT
SLIDE 1: Your HEADLINE will call out a problem or struggle for your target audience. WHO THIS IS FOR– AND WHY they need it.
SLIDE 2: Your Promise of Value will tell them what they will achieve by watching your video. Give them your first teaching point.
SLIDE 3: Tell them to “like and save this video so they can refer to it later”.
SLIDE 4: Your CTA will give you CRAZY reach and engagement - “drop let’s go below this video and I’ll send my free ebook to you in messenger”.
SLIDE 5: Your Intro/Humble Brag will give you the authority in your space. “Hi, I’m Margaret…”
SLIDE 6: Repeat Promise of Value and teach for 3-4 minutes. (can be 1-3 slides)
SLIDE 7: Repeat your CTA that will give you CRAZY reach and engagement.
PEOPLE BUY FROM PEOPLE THEY TRUST
Remember that you are building a business that YOU LOVE. This is not about selling. It's about helping people solve a problem and then getting compensated.
When your community believes in you and your business, then they will want to buy your products. Just be real and you will be able to create the business of your dreams.
