I’ve been studying weight loss, internal inflammation, and food sensitivities for many years and I’ve discovered that sustainable weight loss does NOT come from fad diets and calorie restriction.

This was my life…

  • 35 pounds overweight and sick with IBS, headaches, and eczema

So in 2010 I studied health and nutrition coaching at Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN), and it turned out to be the best decision ever.

After learning what foods and bad habits were creating my weight loss resistance, horrible cravings, and unhappy mood, I made changes in (MIND, DINE, LIVE) and voila...


I lost 35 pounds, my IBS, eczema and headaches disappeared, my mood improved, and I felt happy!

So I became a Certified Health Coach, started helping people in 2011, and created the very successful program - HEALTH MASTERY. 

I was finally  helping people who thought they had no help left.  They were losing weight, feeling great, and living their dream-life.

I Yo-Yo Dieted For Decades

I was so down on myself...

I was tired and frustrated with my yo-yo dieting and IBS, but no one could help me!  I knew the two were connected, but doctors swore they were not.

Doctor after doctor told me I was healthy and to go home and live with my IBS, eczema, headaches, fatigue, moodiness, and extra weight.  Wow!...really!

So I set out on a mission to find the answers and finally did when I was in the Institute for Integrative Nutrition.

A few very common foods along with some bad habits and the "all or nothing" thinking, had created my leaky gut, weight loss resistance, moodiness, and yo-yo weight.

But once I implemented the 3 Core Steps in Health Mastery I was able to lose my stubborn weight, stop the yo-yo, heal from IBS (diarrhea), eczema, fatigue, moodiness, and headaches.

So I figured..."I am not alone and I need to help the thousands of others who are struggling too!"

And thus, in the fall of 2011, was born!

What Health Mastery Clients Have Said...

I wondered why it took me a few months for all you have been teaching to sink in, but it did.  I am finally on a roll.  Our eating has improved "weird" food-but lots of fresh fruit, fresh or frozen veggies, very few meals out.  When we go out to dinner, I choose the fish when I can.  I am loving rolled oats for breakfast, with fruit and nuts-sometimes a poached egg on whole grain toast and fruit.  We have chosen to eliminate wine during the week.  And I am really noticing a difference and am thrilled. A Bit More XOXO...

Hi Margaret.  Vince and I have been on the meal plan for three weeks now and we just love it.  In fact, I have some terrific news to share with you.  I had blood work done last week and my doctor could not believe the results...........and neither could I!  My total cholesterol has never been so low, 163.  LDL and triglycerides have never been so low either.  I am simply thrilled with the results without using drugs.  Your plan is so easy to maintain and the food is so delicious.  We have been experimenting with some recipes as well.  Here is one for you for fall.  Stir a scoop of organic pumpkin puree (Trader Joes) in to your oatmeal with one tablespoon each of flax, hemp and chia seeds.  Add a little maple syrup and 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract and some cinnamon and two tablespoons of pumpkins seeds for seasoning and crunch.
